Louise independently published her memoir Nantucket Sleighride in August 2016.
In 2009 she self-published a collection of her poems, Stones on All Four Corners.
Her poem, Tamworth Winter was included in the Poetry Society of New Hampshire’s 2010 Guide to New Hampshire Poets: More Places, More Poets.
Her piece, The Pollinators is included in Our Provincetown: Intimate Portraits by Barbara E. Cohen, Provincetown Arts Press, October 2021.
Louise is the coauthor of Dogs and Their Women; Cats and Their Women; Horses and
Their Women; and Women’s Best Friend: A Celebration of Dogs and Their Women, Little, Brown and Company.
Louise holds an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Goddard and an M.Ed. from Antioch. She worked as a copywriter for 11 years, and lives in rural New Hampshire with her spouse and their two cats. Louise is an outdoor enthusiast and a beekeeper.
