
Louise Taylor
Louise published her novel Clarity in September 2024, and her memoir Nantucket Sleighride in August 2016.
In 2009 she published a collection of her poems, Stones on All Four Corners.
Her poem, Tamworth Winter was included in the Poetry Society of New Hampshire’s 2010 Guide to New Hampshire Poets: More Places, More Poets. Her piece, Beehives is included in Our Provincetown: Intimate Portraits by Barbara E. Cohen, Provincetown Arts Press, October 2021.
Louise is the coauthor of Dogs and Their Women; Cats and Their Women; Horses and
Their Women; and Women’s Best Friend: A Celebration of Dogs and Their Women, Little, Brown and Company. These were published in the eighties and nineties. Dogs and Their Women sold over 100,000 copies.
Louise holds an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Goddard College and an M.Ed. from Antioch. She worked as a copywriter for 12 years, and lives in rural New Hampshire with her spouse, their dog and cats. Louise is a poet and a beekeeper.
